Why do I need a writing service? I can do it myself.
Your primary expertise lies in running a successful business, so it makes more sense to devote your time and energy to your core business and leave the writing to those who do it best. Professional writers can present your messages in easy-to-understand language that achieves your purpose, whether it's providing clear instructions for product operation or motivating people to try your new product.

You may not be familiar with my industry. How will you be able to write about it?
Our writers write about different topics and different industries all the time. As part of their job, they are expected to research the subject matter. In doing so, they obtain information that can be used in the write-up, gain a better understanding of the context in which the project takes place, and get a feel for what your competitors are doing. We also request that you provide us with specifics about your company, your products and services, and any other pertinent information you wish to include. Since you are likely reaching out to people who don't have expert knowledge of your industry, the written work will be at a level that targets and appeals to this audience.

What do you need from me for a writing project?
To begin, we need to know your industry or business, the objective(s) of your project, its subject matter, what form you require (e.g. brochure, website, letter, manualetc.), your target audience, and when you need the work completed. Any existing or previous documents related to the subject would also be helpful. This basic information will be used to prepare a project proposal and quote. Once you decide to proceed with the project, your project manager will work with your contact person to obtain more specific information required for the detailed write-up. Do you provide writing/ editing services in languages other than English?
We also provide writing/editing services in Chinese, in both traditional and simplified characters.

Who owns the finished product?
Once you have paid in full, you will have ownership of the written work.

What are your rates for writing services?
Each writing project is unique and fees vary based on content, length, delivery time and the amount of extra research required by our writers. Based on your requirements, we will prepare a customized project proposal with quote for your consideration. Our quotes are usually based on project, not hourly rates. Our pricing is competitive and you will find our services a good value for the money. We have a minimum charge of C$98 per project.

When do I pay?
Upon your approval of the service contract, we request a deposit of 50% of the charges before we start work. For larger projects that involve more than 15 working days, we require an additional payment of 25% upon completion of half the project. An interim draft will be submitted to you for review upon receipt of payment. Prior to delivery of the final version, you will need to pay the balance in full. Our quality assurance process allows for two subsequent rounds of reviews after delivery, when we will process any further fine-tuning changes you may request. What methods of payment do you accept?

What happens if I am not satisfied with your written work?
Global has a quality assurance process that solicits client input throughout the project to ensure that our delivered work meets your expectations. Based on your communication to us on the objectives and general content of your written project, we prepare a content outline for your approval so there is a mutual understanding of the approach, flow and critical information to be included. We work hard to make sure there are no surprises at the end of your project. Even after the detailed write-up is delivered, we provide up to two rounds of post-delivery review and in-scope changes, which should leave you with a product delivered to your total satisfaction. What happens if I want changes to my project after work has started?
We encourage you to finalize requirements before assigning the project to us. The scope of your project will be defined in the service contract. Our project manager will also present you with a content outline for your approval before the detailed writing takes place. If you want to make out of scope changes or requirement changes subsequent to outline approval, please contact your project manager as soon as possible. Such changes may incur additional charges.
