Voiceover Quality
As part of Global's commitment to customer satisfaction, we adhere to a rigorous quality assurance process for our voiceover projects. Our process consists of the following steps:

  • Requirements Definition - Before we start the voiceover project, we review the purpose of the project with you to ensure we understand the target audience, geographical location of release, timing of release, medium of presentation, the key messages to be included, language, style and tone, delivery date and requirements for delivery formats. We also confirm whether you have special requirements or preferences for voiceover talent characteristics. If you require additional services such as Script Writing, Translation, or Integration into multimedia presentation, please let us know at this stage.

  • Materials Collection and Content Confirmation - Our project manager will gather all relevant materials and confirm with you on the following:
    • Scripts - You can supply us with your own script or, if you require assistance on writing the script, make use of our Writing Services. Either way, you as the Client are responsible for the accuracy of the information. If you require translation into other languages, please visit our Translation Services section.
    • Music - We can use your pre-recorded music or sound effects, or recommend music tracks for your selection. Where necessary, copyright clearance needs to be obtained.
    • Relevant materials - If the voiceover is to be matched to video, presentation slides, on-line tutorial, website images...and so on, these materials should be provided to Global. If you have special instructions for the synchronization of voice to images, please provide these as well.

  • Talent Assignment - Based on your stated requirements and preferences, our Project Manager will recommend one or more suitable voiceover talents, taking into consideration sex, age, language, skills and style strengths. You can listen to the sample recordings first before deciding on the voiceover talent(s). The appropriate voiceover talent will be selected and assigned. The scripts, related materials and delivery schedule will also be clearly communicated to the talent.

  • Demo Presentation (requires Client Approval) - Based on the agreed scripts and delivery instructions, we will arrange a short recording with our professional voiceover talent, and apply any required mixing and dubbing to achieve the desired effect We will present the short voiceover recording for client approval. Once approved, full production will proceed.

  • Voiceover Production - Based on the client approved demo, full scale voiceover production will progress. After recording with our professional voiceover talent, mixing and dubbing will take place to integrate voice with music or sound effects.

  • Editing and Revision - A voiceover producer reviews the recorded message to ensure that it is delivered with clarity and in line with the agreed script and tone, He or she also checks that the music is synchronized properly, and brings out the desired effect. Where necessary, re-recording and re-editing of the sound track will take place.

  • Project Delivery - If the project manager is satisfied with the work product, the audio file will be delivered via your preferred format and method.

  • Client Review and Revision - You are invited to provide feedback on the submitted audio file within a review period. Client comments and requests for in-scope changes will be processed and incorporated in a revised version, which should bring the final product to your satisfaction.

  • Integration - If you would like the voiceover recording to be an integral part of your multimedia presentation, we provide an optional service to embed the complete sound track into your presentation, be it PowerPoint presentation, website, video or other mixed media. In the case of voiceover recordings for phone systems, we also offer an optional installation service.

  • Delivery of Final Voice Product - The final voice product, integrated where applicable, is delivered to you according to your pre-selected format.

  • Communication - Throughout the entire project process, we keep in close communication with you and our voiceover talents to ensure that requirements are well understood, issues identified and resolved early, feedback and approvals obtained promptly and that the final product is delivered with quality, on time and to your satisfaction.

Quality Feedback
If we notice any problems with the your supplied script, such as unclear messages, inconsistencies in use of terminology, grammatical mistakes, logical errors, or other issues that may affect the quality of the voiceover recording, we will bring it to your attention. Editing service is available to enhance it. We believe in one-stop-shop solution for fast turnaround and good quality control.
